Only an hour's drive from the Orlando area, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is hosting a family-friendly Halloween event on Saturdays and Sundays from October 2nd through October 31st and is included with your park admission. It takes place in the Sesame Street Safari of Fun area.
Trick or Treating Candy Trail- New locations have been added this year with 10 total along the expanded candy trail from the Sesame Street Safari of Fun area along the Bird Gardens pathway. Children 13 and younger can dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes. All costumes are subject to the normal dress code for the park and face painting is not permitted on any guests unless it is done by park artists.
The Not-Too-Spooky Howl-O-Ween Radio Show- A limited-time fan favorite is back with Count von Count as the master of scareemonies leading his pals through his favorite tunes. Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, Zoe, Grover, Oscar, and Elmo will be there to showcase their song and dance numbers that get everyone involved.
Interactive Character Strolls- Your favorite furry friends will be dressed in their best Halloween costumes for photo opportunities including Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, Grover, and Rosita.
Halloween Dance Parties- The Sesame Street Pavilion will host dance parties with Sesame Street friends throughout the day to let loose, show off your best dance moves, and groove to the beat.
Kid-Friendly Rides and Play Areas- Elmo's Treehouse Trek climbing area returns this year. Kid-friendly rides at Sesame Street Safari of Fun can still be enjoyed including Air Grover, Elmo's Safari, Rosita's Djembe Fly Away, The Count's Zambezi Rally, Big Bird's Whirly Birdie, Snuffy's Elephant Romp, Zoe-Patra and the Hippos of the Nile, Bert & Ernie's Watering Hole, Telly's Jungle Jam, Cookie Monster Canopy Crawl, Smiley's Sahara Sands, and Cookie Monster Cloud Bounce.
Pin Trading- Returning this year, pin trading takes place at select times and guests will be able to visit 1-2-3 Smile with Me to trade exclusive pins including collections featuring Sesame Street friends.
