Come celebrate the holidays at Walt Disney World this year during the resort's 50th-anniversary celebration! Here is a list below of all the returning and new offerings for the 2021 holiday season.
Magic Kingdom Park
A new special ticketed event, "Disney's Very Merriest After Hours", starts November 8th and will be on select nights through December 21st. This event will be four hours in length including a firework spectacular, Disney character sightings, holiday decor and music, and sweet treats. Lower wait times are also an added bonus for more than 20 select attractions. Tickets will go on sale next month.
Disney's Hollywood Studios
Sunset Seasons Greetings will return on Sunset Boulevard with magical projection effects on the Hollywood Tower Hotel. You will get to see some of your favorite Disney classics including Toy Story, Frozen, The Muppets, and Mickey's Christmas Carol. A holiday cavalcade featuring Santa Claus himself will be down Hollywood Boulevard and festive Minnie Mouse and friends will be meeting diners at Hollywood & Vine for a holiday meal. A Frozen sing-along celebration will bring back everyone's favorite snowman, Olaf, and the park will be decked out in vintage-themed holiday decor.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
Returning to the tree of life, a holiday edition of the awakenings will take place as well as seasonal decor and festive Disney character flotillas.
Epcot
Festival of the Holidays will return on November 26th through December 30th and will include a cookie stroll and performance by Voices of Liberty.
Disney Springs
Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll will return with Disney-themed trees and include new ones inspired by the 50th celebration. Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar will transform into a holiday bar once again and this shopping/dining/entertainment destination will be full of sparkling lights and festive decor.
Gingerbread House Displays
The famous resort hotel gingerbread houses will be returning this holiday season.
Holiday Merchandise
New exciting pieces will be arriving at both the Disney Parks and shopDisney including sketchbook ornaments, a holiday knit ear headband with matching spirit jersey, and a Loungefly backpack.
