IAAPA Expo

New and exciting things are happening every day in Orlando. In November 2021, two expos will take place in the Central Florida area where announcements will be made on what is in store for the future of theme parks and attractions.

IAAPA Expo

This event will take place on November 16th through the 19th at the Orange County Convention Center. Representatives from over 900 companies from all around the world will showcase their new products and services.

Announcements:

Peppa Pig theme park at LEGOLAND Florida will open as a certified autism center. Peppa Pig's balloon ride will allow children who use wheelchairs to board without having to transfer from their wheelchair.

Destination D23

This event will take place on November 19th through the 21st at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Exciting announcements and sneak peeks will occur including what's new and what's next for Disney parks, experiences, and products.

Details will also be released about the new musical Encanto, the 60th animated feature from Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Announcements:

Magic Kingdom- The Festival of Fantasy parade will return.

A new castle show will debut in 2022 called "Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire" and will feature a new, original song.

A new cavalcade will debut next year called 'Disney Adventure Friends."

Epcot- Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind will open in Summer 2022.

A new quick-service restaurant called Connections Cafe and Eatery is being built.

A new statue of Walt Disney will be built in an area of World Celebration called Dreamer's Point.

Disney's Hollywood Studios- Fantasmic! will return in 2022 with a new segment featuring Frozen, Aladdin, and Moana.

Disney's Animal Kingdom- Finding Nemo: The Big Blue and Beyond will be the replacement for Finding Nemo: The Musical and is coming to the Theater in the Wild in 2022.
