New Rollercoasters Opening in 2022

SeaWorld Ice Breaker Roller Coaster

SeaWorld-Ice Breaker

Opening in February of 2022 and named after the icy Arctic summits, this brand new roller coaster will feature four airtime filled launches, both forwards and backwards, including the steepest beyond vertical drop in Florida, a 93-foot-tall spike with a 100-degree angle. This is SeaWorld's first launch coaster and will be located across from Wild Artic.

Riders must meet the 48-inch height requirement.

With the new addition of Ice Breaker, SeaWorld has announced a new partnership with the Alaska SeaLife Center. They are a dedicated research, rescue, education and rehabilitation facility.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay-Iron Gwazi

North America's tallest, fastest and steepest hybrid crocodile-inspired coaster will open in March of 2022. It will take riders from a 206-foot-tall peak into a 91-degree drop and reach speeds up to 76 miles per hour. It will also include a dozen airtime moments and three inversions over 4,075 feet of purple steel track.

Riders must meet the 48-inch height requirement.

Rocky Mountain construction manufactured and restored the original elements of Gwazi onto the new Iron Gwazi roller coaster.
