Had a fantastic time
My brother’s family (of 5) and mine (of 4) had the pleasure of staying at one of the houses at ‘Champions Gate’ from Saturday Dec. 31/16 to Saturday Jan 7/17. When we drove up to the house there was a collective exclamation of “beautiful” just looking at the exterior. The house was huge on a large corner lot. When we entered and started looking around, the kitchen was clean, very modern with all appliances. All rooms, and there we plenty of them, were very clean. The beds were comfortable and provided a great night’s sleep. Toilets, sinks, bathtubs very sparkling clean. There were several large common areas to accommodate multiple families equipped with TVs, leather couches and the most important feature, WIFI. Pool and Hot Tub were clean, warm and inviting. Great for relaxing after a long “Disney” day. The adults would soak in the hot tub with a drink (in a plastic glass) while the kids played in games room billiards, ping pong, or foosball. They were able to cut the electronic umbilical cord dependency until later at night during down time. The management company checked in with us several times to make sure there were no problems. During our off days (non theme park days), we would walk to the Oasis club, park ourselves in several of the available lounge chairs and soak up the sun while listening to music, circling in a floating tube in the lazy river or having a refreshing drink at the pool bar. We also used the weight room facilities to attempt to burn off some of the vacation bad eating habits. Disney theme parks were a short car ride (approx.. 20 mins). Both adults and kids on this vacation had a fantastic time. This was the first time I stayed at a vacation home and would highly recommend it to families looking to enjoy the Disney experience in Orlando combined with an all-inclusive type flair.
The Best House
The vacation home we rented this year was truly the best house we have ever stayed in. The house was well kept and furnished exquisitely. The seven kids had a wonderful time playing in the game rooms, the one in the garage was very warm and could use more air flow, but none the less fun. They also had a lot of fun playing in the pool everyday. The pool was bigger than most of the neighbors pools. Also the side yard was big enough to play yard games and run around in. There was enough room in the house for everyone to do their own thing when we got tired of each other. All twelve of us went to Sea World and all the kids wanted to do was come back and swim! Due to the size of the house and the amount of people in it another refrigerator would've been nice, but we made due with what we had. The house was upgraded to the fullest and modern. The management company did an outstanding job to keep us enjoying our stay by checking up on us every few days. We will most definitely consider staying in this house for our next vacation!
So much to do!
If you can't find something to do in this house, you're in the wrong one!! We had a family reunion for my mother's 80th birthday. There were 13 of us and we fit in this house with room to spare. The kitchen is great, plenty of kitchen ware to go around. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great sizes and very up to date. We were here for 5 nights and did something different each night. The pool room/poker room was terrific. Same for the garage with all the games out there. The pool was terrific and we did NOT heat it. It was just the right temp for cooling off in 85-90 degree Florida sun. (If you want the spa heated, you do have to heat the pool, only drawback. It was too hot for us to care) I would absolutely rent this house again!! Craig from the property management group stopped by our 1st morning and let us know if we needed anything to just give him a call.
This home was a 10!
On a scale of 1-10, this home was a 10. Exceptionally well appointed and exceeded all of my expectations. Plenty of space, and a great layout for families. Elegant furniture and enough flat screen TV's to make everyone happy. The house is on the end of a block so you're not surrounded by neighbors and the pool has a screen surrounding it (not pictured) to add another layer of privacy. We had a minor power problem but it was identified and fixed expeditiously. Management company was polite and checked on us upon arrival. Price point was on par with other homes of this caliber, and if you are a military family ask about a discount! Location was close enough to Disney properties. We didn't want to be too close, 15 minute drive. I would definitely rent this home again and recommend to friends/family!!!!
