Orlando May Events

Looking for something fun to do outside of the theme parks during the month of May in Orlando? Look no further! Here is a list of events happening all around the Central Florida area in May 2022.

Saturday, May 7th, from 7 pm-9 pm, at the Amway Center, the Orlando Predators vs. Albany Empire will take place. It is the return of their 31st season in the Arena Football League as two-time Arena Bowl Champions. They will also be playing on Sunday, May 15th at 7 pm against the Carolina Cobras and on Saturday, May 28th at 7 pm against the San Antonio Wranglers.

America's favorite beer fest, Beer 'Merica returns on Saturday, May 14th, from 3 pm-6 pm at Gaston Edwards Park. It brings over 100 American craft brews and innovative brands to a celebration of American Craft Beer Week along with an afternoon of live music, delicious local food trucks, and complimentary craft brew samplings. This event is 21+ and dog friendly.

From May 19th-22nd at the Orange County Convention Center, MEGACON Orlando, one of North America's largest comic, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming event will take place. The main events include celebrity photo ops and autograph sessions, artist alley, cosplay red carpet, over 400,000 square feet of shopping, panels, workshops, seminars, a cosplay photo park, and a chance to meet your favorite voice actors and legendary comic book creators.

Returning to Orlando May 21st-22nd, Monster Jam World Finals will take place at Camping World Stadium and is the biggest event of the season showcasing the best trucks and drivers in freestyle, racing, high jump, and skills competitions. It is Monster Jam's 30th anniversary and Grave Digger's 40th anniversary as well as hosts the largest pit party of the year.

Thursday, May 26th, from 5:30 pm-9:30 pm, Taste of Baldwin Park will take place at Harbor Park. It is an all-inclusive food, drinks, and music festival including craft beer, wines, food stations, and a live band.
