The 5 Best Go-Kart Tracks in Orlando

Go-Kart Tracks in Orlando

If you feel the need for speed and love the exhilaration of go-kart racing, it's time to head to the track! The list below is just a few of the go-kart racing options for your family vacation or corporate retreat. For a NASCAR-type adventure or for family fun, there's a track to meet all levels of experience. Many parks offer extra activities in addition to go-karts, so be sure to plan enough time to explore all that each location has to offer.

Orlando Kart Center

Get your motor running at the Orlando Kart Center. Located just five minutes east of Sea World, this center has everything you need to start your racing adventure. There are two outdoor track options:

A short track that is 6/10 of a mile long.

A long track that is 8/10 of a mile long and includes real curbing and bumps.

Orlando Kart Center is an "arrive and drive" attraction, meaning there is no need for reservations. Helmets are provided and there's no need for a driver's license, however, participants must be at least 5 feet tall to drive.

I-Drive NASCAR Indoor Kart Racing

Described as the fastest indoor kart track racing in Central Florida, I-Drive NASCAR features speeds of 45 mph. Participants race against other drivers during eight exhilarating minutes filled with turns and action. Every driver must be at least 10 years old and 55 inches in height.

I-Drive NASCAR offers junior races for ages 10-15 and adult races for ages 16 and older. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver before participating. There's also an arcade, a bowling alley, and pool tables for additional fun.

Andretti Indoor Karting and Games

One of the newer kart racing attractions in Orlando, Andretti Indoor Karting and Games has a track you won't forget! Banked turns and elevation changes make this track a must for thrill-seekers. In addition to indoor karting, the attraction offers a motion theater, zip-lining, laser tag, and much, much more.

Magical Midway Thrill Park

Three tracks await you at the Magical Midway Thrill Park. The Avalanche and the Alpine are wooden, elevated tracks while the Junior track is a concrete track and allows for a little more speed. For those who don't want to sit in the driver's seat, try one of their dual rider karts.

Magical Midway Thrill Park also has bumper cars and bumper boats. Be sure to check out the SlingShot and the Starflyer if you're seeking a true adrenaline rush!

Lil' 500 Go-Karts

This Orlando attraction started in 1968 and is known for its family track.  The specially designed track accommodates children as young as five years old. Adults can ride with children in karts with dual-control steering wheels.

Lil 500 Go-Karts also features a Moto track which allows drivers to experience what off-what racing is like. A third track, called the Fastrac, is for those wanting the thrill of competing in a race of up to 11 other drivers. To prepare for your race, check out the Racing Tips Guide from the park.
