The Ultra-Modern Mansion
Design perfection! That’s what you’ll see from the moment you open the front door. Mixing minimalist-chic style with natural wood as a chief inspiration throughout the rooms, you’ll appreciate the creativity and livability that went into this spacious home.
The pristine open living room and kitchen invite you to soak in the light-filled gathering space with cool, natural wood-hewn furnishings, comfortable couches and a sleek food prep area with state-of-the-art appliances, and a convenient five-stool breakfast bar. Bringing that outdoors theme into the dining experience, there’s even a modernized “picnic table” that seats six for your more formal group meals.
But here’s where it really gets fun. There’s a fort-inspired game room filled with multi-arcade games, air hockey, a slide, and other activities. And, as proof the home’s designers really had a blast outfitting this estate, there’s a beach-themed drive-in movie theater, with an actual truck bed as front-row seating (and for use as an actual bed), along with faux sand, an immense projection screen, and additional chairs. Now that’s a first-rate way to watch your favorite flick!
There’s also an indoor basketball court, plus a fitness room with all the essential premium equipment in case you overdo it with the vacation ice cream and barbecue. An adult cocktail lounge is also on the second floor with access to the expansive balcony where you can relax with a drink in one hand as you sway in a hammock.
Bedtime is dream time in this wonderful place—especially for the kids. Two of the seven bedrooms (all of which can sleep up to 17 people) are elaborately camp-themed, each with a quartet of cool bunk beds. The first of the two is a Happy Camper’s delight with an in-room tree, a tent big enough to sleep in, a karaoke stage, and all the camping essentials like lanterns and even a faux campfire. The second is a full-on lodge, featuring rustic bunks, a faux fireplace, and a real canoe as a ceiling detail.
And adults needn’t feel left out: four King-sized suites and an additional all-white bunk-house for four, have premium bedding and stunning en suite baths with oversized showers, dual sinks, and the kind of sculptured tubs you only imagine soaking weary muscles in.
While you’re kvelling over the home’s amazing interior, you’ll soon feel the same way about the real great outdoors. Walk outside and greet the day by taking a swim in your stunning infinity pool and spa, or sunbathe on the eight poolside lounges, totally secluded and surrounded by palm trees and other lush plantings.
You may want to eat every meal out here too with an amazing, fully-outfitted summer kitchen and grill, plentiful seating areas, multiple flat screens, a bar, and a giant projection screen so everyone in or out of the pool can watch.
When you’re ready to explore the entirety of the 2,300-acre Reunion Resort or to make that short trip to Disney—there’s a shuttle service to drive you to and from the theme parks or anywhere on the resort property. When you want to dine out, you’ve got a choice of six top restaurants, from an upscale tavern and a sushi bar to Reunion’s signature steak house.
